We Care

HUONE is a family, and a family takes care of everyone in it. Whether they’re in Helsinki, Singapore, or elsewhere that idea persists. The fact we have a diverse team from across the globe only emphasizes how much the entire world really is our community. That’s why in 2015 we started the ‘Give Back’ movement. We want to take care of the world and the best way to do that is by taking care of its children. Our efforts focus on child education and welfare, which is why we partner with Plan Suomi to sponsor a child for each of our employees. We also donate part of our profits to charity organisations focused on the same causes.

HUONE is in the business of helping. For some that’s helping them have a better meeting. For others it takes something more, and we don’t shy from that responsibility.

Evon, the mother of HUONE, is undoubtedly the inspiration behind the ‘Give Back’ movement. As an inspirational speaker for women’s entrepreneurship, girl power, immigration, education, and children’s welfare, as well as SISU, she donates all of her speaking fees to charity. From the very beginning, Evon has ensured the purpose of HUONE is helping others. Not just because it’s good business, but because it’s the right thing to do.

Our responsibility is tied to our impact. Serving over 20,000 guests a year means what we have significant buying power, that in turn affects the environment substantially as we are in effect consuming resources to serve our clients. That’s why we’re committed to purchasing recycled products, local produce and sustainably sourced raw materials whenever possible.

Health is a vital aspect of our work at HUONE. The health of our guests, our staff, and the world. That’s why we use locally grown, sustainably sourced produce whenever we can. Everything you eat here is healthy for both you and the planet. We also limit our use of beef products and constantly seek out new food alternatives to add to our menu.
