HUONE Kluuvi welcomed 70 young entrepreneurs to a F*ckUp Night event organized by Helsingin Nuoret Yrittäjät (HYNY) together with Helsingin Yrittäjät.
Entrepreneurship is often spoken about through success stories – the wins, the growth, the achievements that look great from the outside. What we hear far less about are the moments when plans collapse, money runs out, or confidence in one’s own path begins to shake.
The F*ckUp Night hosted at HUONE Kluuvi brought exactly that much-needed honesty to the surface. The event served as a reminder that failures are just as big a part of entrepreneurship as the victories — and they deserve to be shared.

Wave Room Set the Tone for a Relaxed and Safe Atmosphere
At HUONE, we wanted to ensure the evening would not only be inspiring, but also effortless and comfortable for everyone attending. That’s why the layout, lighting setup of the Wave Room were tailored to support the unique concept of the event.
Tapas and drinks brought a relaxed, afterwork vibe, and the easy, welcoming atmosphere made it easier for people to open up and talk about things that don’t usually come up in everyday conversations.
Here’s what a few participants had to say:
“This is my second time at HUONE and my first time here in this room. I really like the concept because the space is bright, the interior is well thought-out, and it almost feels like being at home.” – Participant 1
“Such a lovely feeling here tonight. The space, the setting, the vibe, everything just fits this event perfectly.” – Participant 2

The Speeches
The keynote speakers gave a refreshingly honest take on what entrepreneurship really looks like:
- Evon Blomstedt, Founder of HUONE, shared five honest f*ckup moments from her entrepreneurial journey. Each story came with a clear lesson learned, showing that growth often starts where things go wrong.
- Akseli Herlevi, chef, restaurateur and entrepreneur spoke openly about the realities of the restaurant world: big dreams that moved too fast, tough timing, and constant pressure. He highlighted how every setback can become a valuable lesson, both in business and in life.
“Lots of people and so many like-minded individuals (here). Amazing speakers, especially Evon Blomstedt stood out. You should really come to HUONE, I truly recommend it!” – Participant
The Open Mic session invited participants to step on stage and share their own experiences. The common message was clear: we all mess up.
“FckUp Night. What an accurate, catchy and maybe a little too appropriate name for the event. This was my first time speaking on stage since HUONE entered corporate restructuring. Yet as I gathered my courage and started telling my story of all the f*ckups, the chaos, the wrong people, the dreams too big for the cash flow… something shifted. I realised that even though we are full of scars, still fighting every day, I have every right to stand there.” – Evon Blomstedt
Why Talking About Failures Matters
The evening was a powerful reminder that:
- Failure doesn’t define you
- Being honest and vulnerable takes real strength
- There’s no success without risks, mistakes, and trying again
- Sometimes, failure isn’t the end, it’s the turning point
The night proved that business networking doesn’t have to be stiff or surface-level. When the concept, the space, and the people are right, it can be something more: meaningful, energising and real.

Successful Collaboration
The event was organised by Helsingin Yrittäjät and Helsingin Nuoret Yrittäjät in collaboration with Fennia and Elo. We’re really thankful to have been trusted to host this kind of evening. It meant a lot to be able to offer a space in the heart of Helsinki where people could feel safe to be real, share openly, and learn from each other.
Huge thanks to Helsingin Nuoret Yrittäjät and Helsingin Yrittäjät for bringing F*ckUp Night to HUONE, we loved being part of it!
